Back in the realm of cheesy guitars, here we have another Russian bass, this one being a
Ural Bass model 510.
People seem to be buying these old Russian guitars and basses for their quirkiness and cheesiness alone. This example has been listed as having "
a bowed neck with lots of fret buzz as it has some high frets" and "
lots of nicks + dings and cosmetic wear as well as a few missing screws", yet it still has a Buy It Now price of $540. I'm guessing this is one for the collectors rather than the players.
